TERMS & CONDITIONS – SUMMARY OF MAIN POINTS:

This Rental Agreement is made between Clear Storage Limited (CRN 09944164) (‘the Facility Owner’) and the Hirer. This Rental Agreement, together with the Terms and Conditions (see link below) sets out the Hirer’s rights, obligations and responsibilities under the Rental Agreement in respect of the Van supplied to the Hirer by the Facility Owner. A few of the key points (from the terms and conditions (see link below) are set out below):

• The Van must not be used by anyone other than the driver named in this Rental Agreement, who has and shall comply with and pass all relevant identity checks including, but not limited to, disclosing copies of its driving licence, two forms of address ID and National Insurance number or a DVLA “Check Code”. Terms relating to the use of the Van are set out in full in the main terms and conditions and must be strictly complied with.
• Rental Payments shall be paid on booking and in advance and on time. Failure to pay on time will result in the booking not being completed. Interest will be charged on the overdue sum from the due date until payment of the overdue sum.
• The Facility Owner has certain rights to terminate the Rental Agreement with immediate effect; these are set out in the full terms and conditions.
• The Hirer acknowledges that the Facility Owner shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to the Van arising out of or in connection with any negligence, misuse, mishandling of the Van or otherwise caused by the Hirer or its officers, employees, agents and contractors the insurance excess payable upon any claim is from £500.00.
• The risk of loss, theft, damage or destruction of the Van shall pass to the Hirer on collection. The Van shall remain at the sole risk of the Hirer during the Rental Period. Collection of the Van shall constitute conclusive evidence that the Hirer has examined the Van and has found it to be in good condition, complete and fit in every way for the purpose for which it is intended.
• Unless agreed otherwise, the Hirer must return the Van back to the Premises by 9:30pm on the same date of the Hire in good condition. The Facility Owner will check the condition of the Van on return to the Premises or on the next business day if the Van is returned outside normal business hours (9-4pm). The Hirer will remain responsible for the Van and its condition until it is inspected by the Facility Owner.
• Subject to statutory restrictions, the Facility Owners’ total liability to the Hirer shall not exceed the total amount paid or payable to the Facility Owner under this agreement in any circumstances.
• The Hirer may collect, hold and process your personal data. Further details relating to how personal data is collected, held and processed by the Hirer can be found at https://clearstoragehereford.co.uk/privacy-policy/

I acknowledge that the above key points together with the terms and conditions overleaf have been drawn to my attention and I have read and understood them and agree to be bound by them. I have provided the Facility Owner with:-

• My driving Licence
• 2 forms of address identification -please click to see list of acceptable documents
• Online check code from DVLA or National Insurance number

The Hirer agrees to sign this Agreement by electronic signature (whatever form the electronic signature takes) and that this method of signature is conclusive of the parties’ intention to be bound by this Agreement as if signed by each party's manuscript signature.
